16th November 2023 – We had fun filming for the ITV early evening news

It all started with a phone call in the morning – explaining to us that Hen Hotels had become increasingly popular, so could they come and see our setup and talk more about how popular chicken keeping has now become plus how so many people are now using hen hotels when they go away on holiday.

The cameraman arrived around 1pm followed by Reporter Sarah McKinley – we chatted about chickens and how we began, the cameraman took what seemed like hours of chicken footage. He recorded the interview with Paul and me, a few questions and answers, and then they moved on to see and chat with Diane Lewis (one of our long-time customers) and her lovely flock of hens.
