Wow what an amazing evening!
Yay … I have finally got the official photos from the awards evening so can now update my blog – here we go …
It all started on the 31st August when we submitted our entry for the Spelthorne Means Business Awards. On the 12th October, we received an email to say we were one of the 3 shortlisted finalists in the Best Independent Business category – brilliant as this meant we were now invited to a black-tie awards’ dinner at the Orangery, Shepperton Studios on 11th October. A nice excuse to get our posh frocks and jackets out. In addition to announcing the winners of each award, we enjoyed a two-course dinner with wine, a live band and a talk by Ben Towers.

We really didn’t think we had a chance – they called out the winners name – Charlotte’s Chickens – oh my god!!! we were not expecting that – what a lovely surprise – we were in shock – WOW we WON!!! Off we went to collect the award – presented by Spelthorne Business Forum
